AS SEEN ON SHARK TANK
Have you ever been 7 months pregnant in a room full of sharks?
Our Founder Jenni-Lyn Williams has. In 2017 she packed up her tins of Snarky Tea and flew to Los Angeles for her chance to be on Shark Tank.
It turns out there are a few tricks you can have up your sleeve that make pitching to the Sharks less intimidating. One is to forgo your glasses and contacts so you’re almost legally blind and can’t see their expressions. The other is to be so pregnant that your main worry is having to pee while on set.
That was Jenni-Lyn’s state of mind: “Pitch this motherf**king tea so I can pee.”
And it worked! Snarky Tea got two sharks to swim with us that day; Kevin O’Leary and Bethenny Frankel. The investors saw that our teas were not only funny, but functional. Each of our teas is blended specifically to help power women through their busy lives.

Everyone knows the quickest way to a shark’s heart is through its stomach which is why our Chief Snark Officer served each of them a Snarky Tea that matched their personality.
