Fall is the season of reflection; it’s about looking back over the growing season and finally reaping what you’ve been sowing all year. Be bountiful! Here are a few journal (or pondering) prompts for self-reflection.

What do they symbolize for you? What emotions do they invoke? Why are you feeling those emotions, now? What are some things you learned this year that you are proud of?

3. How do you practice self-care during the fall?
What are some activities or routines that make you feel good physically and mentally? What are some ways you can make your home cozy and comfortable? How do you cope with shorter days and colder nights? Where will you create moments of calm for yourself this season?
Autumn is also about giving thanks and being grateful for all that we’ve sown and grown this year. It's time to be grateful for the bounty of the season!
4. What are you most grateful for this fall?
How can you express your gratitude to others? How can you bring light to that gratitude in your life? How do you respond to moments that make you grateful? Are you open and receiving, or closed and deterrent?
5. What are some fall activities that bring you joy?
How can you make time for them in your busy schedule? Who do you want to enjoy them with? Are you prioritizing joy this season? How can you create more small moments of joy this fall?
After so much reflection, it’s hard not to think about what that means for the future. So, after you’ve taken a moment or 2 to reflect. Allow yourself to look forward. What’s in store for you?
6. What are some goals you have for the rest of the year?
How can you achieve them? How will you break them down into meaningful tidbits and habits? Are these goals aligned with your overall priorities for this season of your life? How can you balance your goals and the unknown surprises that will come up?
7. How do you balance your work and personal life during the holiday season?
How are you finding (or making) moments of calm? What are some tips or strategies you use or want to try? How are you going to practice mindfulness this season?
While you’re practicing self-reflection this season, remember to give yourself the grace you deserve.
